    Rudolph to be traded?

That's whats out there on the web. I'd like a 3rd round for him!

Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

So, the Lions head coach wants to make a change because one backup threw a pick and one backup had a fumble, no wonder the Lions are who they are. Does he think Mason won't ever have a pick or fumble? A third would be nice but I can't see a team giving up a third for a backup quarterback, but who knows.

If they could get a 4th for MR they should take it. His contract is up this season and they’ll get nothing when he leaves.

Totally agree with you Ghost. A 4th will do it for me.

maybe its been happening a ton in practice as well. If Mason has a ton more experience I don’t see why they wouldn’t want him over what they have (no idea what they have). He my even push Goff for the starting gig.

I say hold onto him for a bit longer, more injuries will happen and his value could pop up into the 3rd round level if teams get panicked enough, which some are bound to. If we had an extra 3rd round this year we could have drafted a decent OT.

He's better than Goff. I'd need no lower than a 3rd to pull the trigger.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Mason hasn't thrown a pick in camp, at least he didn't last week. It doesn't take much to push Goff. I love to trade Rudolph for a 3rd round pick. Will settle for a 4th or even 5th. As long as the Lions don't watch the tape of Rudolph playing them, and leading us to a tie, we should be fine.

That was a classic Shades "play way down to the competition" game if there ever was one. Cool Shades is infamous for his teams under-performing vs. the worst teams.

Lol, no he's not, and we're not getting higher than a 6th most likely.

Take a breath guys... MR2 is not going anywhere... Omar Khan would be foolish to trade MR2... MR2 is the best QB2 in the league because he recognizes that QB2 is a different position than QB1... He has been plying his trade for 5 seasons... MR2 would not be effective as a QB1...

He wouldnt start over Goff, if he went there it would be to replace one of their back ups. They probably arent giving up anything that valuable.

Trade rumors are swirling around Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph. An ex-Steeler has a new home in the AFC. Gerrit Cole suffers a tough loss. And Le’Veon Bell’s boxing match is on again. All that in Tuesday’s “First Call.” Motor City Mason For some fans in Pittsburgh, the only satisfactory ending

Detroit and Pgh loves trading players with each other, have for years.

                              This.

I can't imagine that we'd get a 3rd round pick for one year of Mason...but I guess there are stupid GMs in the league.

If anyone offers that for him you just sign whatever they want you to sign.
