and that rabbit hole is attached to your backside.

Get out of your butt and read the actual threads about FOOTBALL and maybe you will actually contribute to the site. I know that isn't your goal.

Yeah, but you did try to turn flippy against me just like the cancel culture mob would have done. If you were merely trying to ignore me like you've suggested than you would have done that. This only confirms to me that you're a chronic liar, like always you never do the right thing.

I know it's hard for you to believe but I don't follow your comments unless you call me out. I'm not into associating with chronic liars.

A lot of experts said Pickett was the most NFL ready QB.

Nothing woke about it. Every year they have debates over who will be the first to go at every position.
The fact is several talking heads in the media outlets said Willis was the #1 QB in the draft. Several woke people fell for the narrative and way down the draft board he went.

who were these woke people that fell for it if he fell down the draft? Wouldn’t it imply most didn’t fall for it since it didn’t happen?

Certainly wasn’t anyone in our FO although this is what some are implying even though we didn’t draft him.

and you are defending those people who claim Tomlin wanted Willis when he clearly stated we wanted Pickett all along.

so YOU are saying NJ and Whisper are “woke” because they believed Tomlin loved Willis because it was reported in the media.

lmao, you can’t have it both ways.

feltdizz the liar, there are many fans who fell for the media's narrative. It's not my job to to find them. If you're curious about it than do the research yourself.

From the media's reports it certainly looked like Tomlin wanted Willis but who really knows except for the people in management. After all there is a lot of deception at draft time. Some misinformation is deliberately put out there by management, media contacts, coaches etc.

I am defending a poster's right to have an opinion, and I can clearly see why they would think Tomlin wanted Willis even if he didn't. I wasn't in the war room so I'm not privy to this information.

I have no opinion on whether NJ and whisper are woke or not. All I know is they are nice and show respect unlike you, you liar!

Draft projections are reported as speculation, they are not reported as fact, there is a reason that the reporting period before the draft is referred to as "Mock Season". I don't know why this needs to be explained to you?

weirdo wizard, I do a lot of mock drafts on one of my YouTube channels. Whether you realize it or not these viewers look up to me and take my projections very seriously. If they thought it was merely speculation they wouldn't get so angry when they don't agree with my selections. You must be the one of the "unstable" ones I've vanished on my channel. So much anger over nothing.

Are you okay? You seem upset far too often. I'm worried you're going to have a heart attack with all that stress built up. Should I prepare a tombstone in my garden for you? We could have a seance around it, and you could interview Haskins in real time so that we can find out the truth of his passing. Than for once you can be something in my eyes instead of nothing. How does that sound? We could have the phony Christian Lemming say a prayer and feltdizz perform the eulogy filled with lies. We'll even lay you to rest in a Lamar Jackson jersey.

Willis supposedly has the lower floor, as he needs to grow as a passer. But with a cannon arm and elite running ability, incredibly high ceiling. He might be trash but might be GREAT.

Kenny is a "safe" pick with a higher floor but a low ceiling. Decent floor or "good" not "great" as his ceiling.

                      Why.

Nevermind the current GOAT of the position Brady.... he replaced Joe Montana for the GOAT title.

If the GOAT of two different generations not only are not "running" QBs , neither has a cannon arm.

                      What wins SBs? ACCURACY.

Heck since rocket armed Bradshaw, the only DYNASTIES (at leat 3 championships) this league have been:

The Niners (three of 4 with Montana)
                      The Cowboy's
                      And the Pats
(I'm not counting the Redskins as they had different QBs).

Every QB with 3 championships has ACCURACY as their best trait and NONE had a legendary cannon OR was a great runner.

I would suggest we flip the script on ceilings and floors.

Elite running QBs ACTUALLY have a higher FLOOR. How many great running QBs fail to routinely make the playoffs? I would suggest they are MUCH MORE likely to get to a playoff. Heck look at pure TRASH passer Tebow.

But time and time again QBs who's elite trait is running fall short EVEN THOUGH they routinely make the playoffs.

But if you are looking at championships, it is ACCURACY not just a cannon or legs trumps all.

                      The record does not lie.

Back to my point about Kenny and Malik.

Look at a Willis review and you could change the name to Mike Vick and it would still work. Vick, Kordell, Lamarr.... they all are exciting to watch, highlight machines and WIN plenty.

Look at a Pickett evaluation and you are describing JOE MONTANA. But he might be a Kellen Moore.

I would suggest Pickett has a higher ceiling of the two.

Pickett has the trait that the best QBs of all time have. ACCURACY. That trait is a WEAKNESS of Willis.

Who really has the highest ceiling if championships is the goal?
                      Bump.......
Please ignore the garbage after the thread went off the rails.

Steelers Kenny Pickett through 2 preseason games:

                      19/22, 171 yds, 3 TD

Kid has been money against the clock with time running out in BOTH games.
Nothing wowing you physically at all. But accurate and clutch.

Feels kinda Montana-ish, Bradyesque doesn't it?

Why must people place a ceiling on a kid with "goatlike" traits?

After which The GOAT, Tom Brady, returns from a 10 day absence from the Buc training camp but refuses questions. The GOAT reunites with his wife, is traded to the Steelers and fulfills his vision to "play until I'm 60." This leaves the question of hometown favorite KP8 forever unresolved.

I've been against having him start the season.

But he keeps passing the tests in front of him. And he looking like the best QB in stadiums.

I wonder how much time he'll get next week?

While I worry that our QBs are going to get killed in real games, I'm starting to think KP should start the season.

I still think the team will start with Mitch.

But Pickett has looked good in both games...better than the two other guys IMO. Although I would have liked to see a bigger sample size last night.
