Have any former first round QBs who have failed miserably with their first team ever gone on to resurrect their career and win a SuperBowl with another team after their original team gave up on them?
I'm not asking about a guy like Matthew Stafford who was clearly a talented QB on a bad team for years.
I'm talking about the guys that would be like Trubisky, Mariota, Winston, or any of the guys we're rumored to be interested in.
Seems there's a rumor that every former failed 1st round QB is on our list of potential targets. Has that ever worked for anyone?
Is it even worth considering these guys and paying them anything? Or should we be investing any money and picks that would go to these guys to improve the rest of the team?
