The AFC is litter with top QB talent, the Bengals had one of the easiest schedules in the NFL, and were one of the least injured teams. They might be in the mix but tough to say whether they will get back any time soon.
I don’t think the bengals get back there next year. Maybe down the line but not next year.

I think its time to change their philosophy on protecting the QB or Burrow will be back in a cast next year. He isn’t built for this much punishment.

No QB is built for that. 7 sacks and a bunch of hurries. I forget the number but he got sacked a ton in the playoffs.

Their first 2 picks need to be O-linemen. hahahaha

Burrow came damn close to a SB win with like 70 sacks this season which is insane.

Short term it worked but its time to address the OL if they want him to have long term
            success.

              Here's what they said about another QB that was a one year starter in college;

“Despite being a one-year starter, _____ is very polished as a passer playing with good balance and consistent mechanics, which leads him to throw with great accuracy in the short/intermediate passing game. Although he comes from a version of the spread in his college offense, he was asked to do many full field progressions and showed he can click from receiver to receiver quickly and efficiently. Shows all of the tools to develop into a very solid NFL starting quarterback and appears to be the safest option of... quarterback draft class.”
Who was he? (Hint; he is on some fan's radar as the new Steelers QB)

Mitch Trubisky is the only QB I know that was a 1 year starter.

Always thought it was insane how he shot up the board but I think it was partially due to his size.

They have $57M in cap space to fix their OL, too.

They were a year ahead of schedule, I think they're going to be a nightmare for the next 4-5 years. Chiefs and Bills didn't go away, not sure why everyone is expecting Cincy to be a one and done.

Ding ding ding, feltdizz gets the prize. Amazing to think he was drafted before Mahomes. Bears are kicking themselves on that one.

Bears traded up to get him too when they probably didn’t have to.

But a Bears fan made a great point. A lot of scouts were hyping Trubisky up. It happens almost every draft where a mid or 2nd round talent gets hyped up to a top 10 simply because of a workout or measurable’s.

I will never understand how Watson wasn’t the first QB picked. Not sure how anyone could pass hik up. All you had to do is watch what he did to Alabama in 2 championship games to know he was a beast.

                      In 2 games vs Bama
                      825 yards passing, 7TD’s 1 INT
                      116 yards rushing 1TD

                      and you picked Mitch?

I am really hoping the hype train catches on for all the QBs in the combine this year and they all get drafted before the Steelers pick. Then there will be no temptation to take a QB in the 1st rd.
