Maybe he's like some on the board that want to cherry pick certain parts of Ben's career to exclude the best parts?

As many have noted, we haven't been good in the playoffs for a while.

I am not sure Ben wants a TV gig. He just seems to be the type of person that doesn't aspire to that type of glory. I think Ben settles in with his family, plays a lot of golf and may become a motivational speaker accross the country.

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Not sure glory is the right word but I definitely believe some don’t like to be micromanaged and if you are doing TV there is always someone in your ear telling you to do something.

        Its still a job.

If I retired at 40 with millions I’m not sure I would want any job while my kids are still young.

Same. But most of these guys are driven by something else. They all say they want more time with their families but many don't do it.

I thought being a scumbag was prerequisite for getting a job at FOX?

Really any news agency (CNN's has had some significant problems with employee morality recently)

The 'family' thing is an easy out. No one would question it. But the reality is the kids go off to school for 6 or 7 hours out of the day and that's a lot of idle time on your hands. You know what they say about idle hands?

You've confused them with CNN. They are is a scandal tailspin.

No confusion here FOX is in a league of it's own.

They have led the ratings for 25 straight years or so. Yes, they are in a league of their own in that respect.

You may want to check on CNN, they are in a death spiral.

Are you talking about Fox sports? Are you saying Aikman, Howie Long, Michael Strahan, etc., are scumbags?

In case you didn't know it, Fox sports is in a different division of the corporation than Fox News.

That is correct, Fox Sports sucks.

I realize that, it was meant to be a joke, Fox Sports is just fine, FOX news however has an entire lineup of scumbags.

What do ratings have to do with it and what does CNN have to do with it?
