Hell, Joe Rogan gets a bigger daily audience than all CNN and MSNBC shows combined.

    You're losing.
Look at yourself, I don't even watch CNN or MSNBC, nor do I care about ratings, ratings tell you nothing about the quality of the content. If you think the likes of Rogan, Carlson, and Hannity are actually reporting the news then you just dont understand journalism.

Exactly. These channels are bought and paid for.

I remember the Fox News creator saying Obama winning a second term would be “good for business”

They make money by making viewers outraged over nonsense.

            oh my damn…

see, this is batty right here.

CRT is a prime example. Tucker brings Rufo on to discuss CRT and people lost their minds. Old men with no kids started showing up at school board meetings screaming about CRT that wasn’t even in their schools.

Its amazing to watch it play out.

when an enemy invades a country the first thing they do is take over the radio and tv stations.

we have people voting against their interest and defending Billionaires who wouldn’t pee on them if they were on fire.

And Trump is the perfect example of that. A democrat for years, he switched parties (multiple times) when it suits him - as he knows how to push their buttons better. He literally loathes the vast majority of his supporters but he's a master at stirring their fanatical support. At a 2016 rally, he actually said, "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters". And he's right about that and much more. He can tell a former prisoner of war that he prefers soldiers that don't get captured, he can grab women wherever, pay a porn star to keep quiet, dodge a draft with bone spurs, bankrupt multiple businesses, fail to pay numerous workers, claim the virus will magically disappear and that doctors are looking into injecting the body with a disinfectant, blame Dr. Faucci, get cozy with Putin & Kim, get impeached twice for legimate crimes, ask Georgia to "find" him votes, rip up documents, take classified documents, and the list goes on and on. And stil, even the majority of his own party continues to bow down to him. His skill in this area is both impressive and frightening. No law or norm applies to him.

I agree that the major news outlets will do anything to stir outrage and gain viewers but Fox "News" has taken it to a whole new level after Trumpism. They are on record saying they're not a news channel but an entertainment channel. But that hasn't stopped them from being dangerous. This has never been more true than the past ~5 years. I think they have become the most dangerous outlet on TV because they have followed Trump's lead in spreading misinformation, promoting consipiracy theories and outright lying - all just to gain viewers. And it's worked to perfection. But at what cost? MILLIONS of voters, including my father, confidently believe that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump. That should be the most laughable viewpoint imaginable, yet it's believed as fact because of Fox "News'" willingness to promote the lie. Millions question vaccines and masks as being a political stunt because of Fox "News".

Trump's 2020 tactic was that of a spoiled, entitled, narcissistic 5 year old playing a game. You feel like you have a good shot at losing the game. So, you claim, months in advance, that the only way you could lose, is if the other side cheats. And then when you do lose, by a wide margin, you say, "See, I told you" and then you hang on to that lie forever, in attempt to save face - to the extreme point of inciting a mob insurrection at the Capitol. Normally, any clear-thinking person could see through such nonsense. But when you have the backing of an enormously popular and powerful news media, the unimaginable starts to become fact to a very large population of gulliable viewers. Trump would have won that election easily if he had done one simple thing... show empathy for people suffering through a pandemic. Instead, he had to boast about how great a job he was doing and that the virus was no big deal.

Politics sucks. There's lying and manipulation and lobbying on both sides. But Trump put the right, deep in the sewer and he's successfully taken the party, Fox "news" and millions of supporters with him. He's not good at much, but he's the master of creating a cult following.

                    Trump is awesome..

at showing how stupid and desperate America is these days.

In some ways I think McCain is to blame for introducing us to Palin. She was dumb as a rock and I actually heard women say “she makes me believe I could be President”

No, just no.. I don’t want anyone that makes a soccer mom in flyover country think she could be a President.

Trump though.. man, I thought it was a joke but I stopped laughing when I found out candidates don’t have to show their taxes, they just do it in good faith. I knew Trump would never show how unrich he was compared to how he portrays himself.

But Trump is great at marketing. He has sold us everything possible for 30 years. People ate it up and I will admit he can be funny at times. Part of Obama’s charm was his ability to joke and throw shade.

It’s just wild that a man born with a silver spoon in his mouth from Queens, with gold plated sinks and toilets and a Russian wife was able to convince hard working blue collar Americans he was looking out for them.

I know all politicians at that level sell that lie but this dude bankrupted a casino. It was amazing to watch and seeing all these people around him go down is also impressive. Dude is something else.

He lost a fortune being president and was the only one in recent memory to stick up for the working class, stand up to China, the deep state, the drug companies, the media, the military industrial complex (all of which is why they wanted him gone), but yeah, he did it for selfish reasons.

I'm sorry the orange man's mean tweets broke you. Enjoy your one-party corporatocracy.

How the hell did he help the working class? His whole populist schtick was just that, just a schtick. The guy is a narcissistic conman. I still can't believe he was President. And now Biden at close to 80 is President, what the hell, people should be very concerned.

I really wish people would realize the two party system is destructive to this country, it's not helping anyone except for those at the top. The bottomline is despite differences people actually agree on a lot of things, the two party system and the media doesn't want you to think that though. Instead their job is to constantly divide and distract people.

the deep state? oh boy.. lol.

I will admit Trump did some good things.

But he damn sure didn’t stick up for the working class. That is what makes him a good politician though, by giving tax cuts to the wealthy PERMANENTLY and a tax break temporarily it gave the appearance he cared about the working man.

Follow up on the numbers, the debt, the manufacturing jobs that never came back to blue collar areas and you have a reality that is far different from his promises.

I will admit though, I give him credit for lowering or at least attempting to lower drug pricing.

yep.. notice how the 2 parties and powers that be do a great job of throwing a wet blanket over any attempts at a 3rd party.

its just a volley back and forth while those in govt get rich buying stocks of companies they give contracts to.
