I remember there was/is another board with several former Trib posters but I didn’t care for it much. It had a weird vibe.

Crash was part of the first 3 boards i was on AOL Granstand, The Confluence, & Stillernation until he got mad at the board owner Anerdoc & refused to ever post there again.

Hey... Don't forget my battles with Crash.
I was defending COWHER back then.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

          TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

The coaching almost cost us again today. Tomlin is terrible. Nice clock management again at the end of the first half.

But the biggest issue is, this team cannot play in the first half. It's been that way for weeks and nothing is ever done to change it. Like, how about they come out and pretend they're down 10 in the 4th quarter? Maybe try a no huddle/hurry up to begin a game? Nope, we'll just keep going 3 and out all half to ensure we spot a team a 14 point lead.

I recall someone (might have been Hawaiian) telling me that board was going away and telling me about this one.

Sure enough that one suddenly was gone.

                As far as "the attitude"?
                Happy to oblige.

I didn’t post much back then but I was on your side. I never understood his hatred for Cowher but here we are 20 years later with the same debates about Tomlin.

I think Crash pops in here from time to time but I can’t figure out his alias.

Some of us have speculated that he is "Buzznutter".

Similar POV. He also did like to do a play on other members names. But I have my doubts too. I'm not sure.

Yup, and the losses were because of player execution. Today’s win was because of Tomlin.

How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

Yes. But I'm starting to wonder because I never see that Crash arrogance. Crash by every other handle would pick fights with people.

If it is the same guy, he has drastically changed his personality so as to not get banned.

Maybe the coach is thinking one of these weeks the offense will actually execute without the drive-killing penalties, drops, and whiffed blocks for run stuffs on plays they have been running for weeks?

Playcalling can be better I am sure. But in the first quarter I saw; Roethlisberger throw a shovel pass into the feet of Najee, Claypool drop yet another backshoulder pass, Roethlisberger and Najee with sloppy handoff that lost yards, a dump pass short on 3rd and 14, a Roethlisberger sack on an OL jailbreak. The offense can't seem to string more than two good plays together without something going wrong. And they are not good enough to overcome those wrongs.

I remember when Big Nasty got banned from the Trib (which was impossible to do) and that set Crash off. I think The Trib folded up shop soon after.

                              Ahhh. The good old days!

                                It is easy to understand.

Some people are excited when we win so that's when they come here to to rejoice in the win (I am of that mind).

                                Proof?

You barely heard a "whisper" from some people during our win streak last season.
