it is actually quite disappointing that as Steelers fans we can't all just appreciate a much needed win.

they are hard to come by in the NFL, especially against a team that was 9-4.

I don't think anyone is having trouble "keeping it real". This team is not that good. But I certainly can enjoy a win when it happens.

I joined this particular forum 13 years ago because the Old Trib forum had this same bickering atmosphere but PlanetSteelers was offering something different. Agree or disagree it was handled with respect to at least some degree. The glory days. I must be old.

Pretty much the majority of the Trib board crew came here. I never saw a big difference.

We joined THIS forum because the Trib was going bye bye. That is why most on this thread joined in 2008 just like you.

rotflmao, c'mon man, the turnovers do not happen in a vacuum, the Steelers have something to say about it and every team, after every game b!tches about the referees. the Steelers won the effing game, played hard, and made more plays than the Titans. The Ravens lost and the Browns have a chance to lose tomorrow. the Steelers are going to be in a better position than they were a week ago, enjoy it.

that "playing hard to the end" that people in this thread are speaking of, sure wish we'd see a little more of it when we're attempting to tackle opposing RBs. I understand we have talent and schematic deficiencies with our run D ... I also know that a lot of tackling is about effort and "want-to," and I'm sorry, but I think a number of our defensive players fall short in that regard. I got very tired of seeing 3-4 of our players being drug downfield and abused repeatedly by D. Foreman. We'll have to do a lot better going forward, if we want to have a chance to contend.

Refs? works both ways. There were plays out there where there was holding on Tenn, and not called.
