Arizona oline is average, so much of what Connor does is based on ability, and the way he's used. His yards per reception is high for a RB, (I think he ranks second in the league).

They have a dynamic offense and they are FAST. Its fun to watch.

but when people say we have all this talent..

and then I see AZ with:
      Kyler Murray at QB
      AJ Green at WR
      DeAndre Hopkins at WR
      Zach Ertz as TE

and then have the nerve to say we shouldn’t draft skill first, we should draft OL.. lmao.

Nah.. draft skill first.. and acquire skill in FA or trades.

Draft OL later until you have all the skill positions set. I would actually draft DL next year before OL.

If Ben could buy time with his legs like he use to or Murray didn't have incredible mobility you wouldn't see that big difference in our skill players vs there's. You think we should draft a RB or TE high with PF & Najee???? The Cardinals won't last long at all in playoffs with their average OL. QB is the only skill position we should be drafting high next year.

i still stand by the question - why didn't they keep him to back up Najee? In a lesser role, I don't see that health would have been an issue.

I feel like there must have been something else happening to cause that split

if we lose both JuJu and Washington in free agency, I could see us drafting a WR on Day 2 or early Day 3.

Maybe he wanted to be a starter and not a backup? Just like Ingram.

that's possible... except, why go to Arizona? He was splitting time with Chase Edmonds until a few weeks ago when Chase was put on IR. Could have been a similar situation with similar pay, but at home.

We have the TE and the RB already.

We need a true #1 WR.

DJ might end up being that guy but until a WR commands a double team we will continue to see DJ on short routes and everyone else struggle.

We need speed. Someone to keep the safeties from creeping up.

I believe they will get bounced early come playoff time, as someone will come in and dominate the trenches. Panthers did it to them two years in a row last time the Cards were in the playoffs.

Probably mutual. I mean, we signed Snell and McFarland and we abandoned the run in 2020.

Maybe it was just time for a change of scenery.

Also, I heard no other team showed interest until AZ and he signed for peanuts. I think this was his chance to start over and prove himself.

Last night they said AZ struggles AT HOME.

Lost their last 3 home games. Not sure if its legit since Murray has been injured but it may be a problem if it continues. What is the point of home field if it isn’t an advantage?

To be clear, I'm not crying that he's gone, nor am I saying that Najee isn't the better option ... just pointing out the difference coaching/system/play-calling/usage can make. Last year, some of y'all were saying that Conner is washed up, but he doesn't look too spent to me.
Kinda like the bell situation. Most fans here thought he was done and didn’t deserve 15+ a year.
He then went on and proved us wrong by tearing it up with a couple other teams….
                          Oh wait…. Never mind …
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

How far can a receiver really run in 2 seconds?

                              Most fast WR’s run a 40 in 4.4ish..

so about 15 to 18 yards..

Exactly! It's impossible for a running back to be successful without good blocking.
