I had high hopes for Layne when we drafted him, but it seems he just didn't have it between the ears.

Layne doesn't have the necessary short-area quickness to succeed out in space at CB.

now he has a felony gun charge, wonder if Layne has played his last down as a Steeler?

if so, he can join the already long list of Steelers CB draft busts.

The Steelers should never draft a CB again. They simply can't do it. They've haven't gotten one right since who, Rod Woodson?

That being said, a warrant for a parking ticket or something, a blunt (which is legal in a lot of places now), and a gun. Not good, and he's a total idiot. But we've seen worse.

yeah, Ike worked put well for us. William Gay was another decent pick up even tho he was blamed for all failures for a year or 2.

We will continue to draft all positions.. some will work out and some won’t.

I prefer FA for CB’s but that’s just me.
