true, besides we have a lot of different positional needs.

are they going to reach us in the 2nd or are we going to be stuck drafting Snell, Sammuels, and McFarland again?

They’ll be there ; now do we have the talent evaluators to identify him? That’s the question. Dobbins was there for us last year wasn’t he? Yeah.. they’ll be there

last year was a deeper RRB draft, swift, taylor, dobbins, akers, moss so teams could wait. Add in deep WR, OT pushed RB down the board.

the last great back we've had was a mid 2nd rounder
How many championships did that second rounder get us?

Who was the last one to start a SB victory?
            5th rounder.

            Let me ask you this-
How would "fast Willie" look like behind THIS line?

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

            TCFCLTC-

Most likely ( like a few years as of late ) a RB probably won’t be taken in the first round. And if so , only one. No worries. Fix that O-line in the first round

a lot farther then where we been going without one. did running the ball look this difficult when he was on the team?

                not good.
as i've said we need OL help too.

the point is there isn't enough talent at the RB position. do you not agree with that?

our current staff have shown us what their late round RB evaluations are. its crap

I was disappointed in thr McFarland selection as well. He showed me little to nothing when given a chance this year but... with this O-line being as crappy as it is, he gets a pass this year.

Running the ball was not difficult at all when over the hill backup DeAngelo Williams had a Pro Bowl Season with Bell out, WHEN THE LINE WAS GOOD.

                      A well deserved pass.
Again, Fast Willie in his prime....does he look better than McFarland behind THIS line?

Frankly we have no basis to make a judgement on him when he has nowhere to run.

The only RB I would take behind this line is that Sanders guy who played on Detroit. He was pretty good and able to run behind a poor line

Not me, Harris is a special type of beast. Work on the OL in rounds 2,3 and FA.

exactly.. keep drafting RB’s later in the draft and then get mad when they don’t look like the guys drafted in earlier rounds.

We are drafting 24th not 4th.. IF Harris or Etienne are available you grab them.. and then get OL in round 2 and 3.

Dickerson the Bama center ,the guy who through the kick out block, on the Harris high hurdle run I could see us taking early but Harris to me would look good in round 2. Dobbins just went in round 2 a year back so it's possible n great value in the 2nd.
It's so early but Harris is a real nice talent with good size n enough speed.
It depends who's still on the board. Harris should be a target at pick #24. Personally I rather trade down in round one and get him or pick him in round two. My gut says he won't be there for our pick in round two. He is a first round talent.

With our OL, we need a back who hits the hole quickly and does not go down easily. Harris has some quickness to him and some speed, enough to run outside the tackles, which Conner could not.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***
