It does seem that way. It could also be that Tomlin sometimes likes to rotate more backups in games like these, leading to closer games. Maybe if they go up big early we'll have a Rudolph sighting just in time for Christmas...

Things I'd like to see out of the O tonight:
-Score a TD on the first drive. I think that they've only done this once this season.
-Renewed emphasis and success in the run game.
-A deep shot or two that is actually successful, and by that I don't mean getting a PI flag.
-Run a few plays that are not the same obvious, predictable garbage that we have seen every game.
-And the obvious....Zero drops - especially from DJ or EbronComment

That might be once in two seasons or more. There was a long drought before we did it this year (and I think you're right that it's only once this season).Things I'd like to see out of the O tonight:

I don't remember the game, but IIRC the Steelers won the toss in that game and decided to receive instead of defer. They scored on that first drive.Comment
