Many of us know that Tomlin is a good coach.

is there a team we played we should not have beat? that's been a big criticism over the years but looks good so far this year?

I think its great we haven't seen the bone headed challenges we've seen over the years and I'm happy its improved

PS, thank god all of you of you have never criticized anything steeler related

The team and coaching put on an absolute clinic today.

But players and coaching staff should be judged by a body of work. Not just a single game.

I don't think it's as easy as judging who the Steelers should beat as opposed to who they shouldn't beat. It's not easy to win in the NFL regardless of the opposition records or fans perceptions of teams. Not sure why some people don't reach those conclusion after years of watching football?

It's one thing to be critical. It's another thing to be overly critical. People that wanted Tomlin fired were being overly critical.

                      Exactly!

And Tomlin's body of work puts him solidly in the upper end of second tier of current coaches with BB as the only person in tier 1.

Pats aren’t looking so hot without Brady.

Exactly. He is top 5-7 coach in this league and some find nothing but faults. BTW...BB looks like he is coming back to the pack this year.

Who here is satisfied with having a good team every year? I don't think he has ever been referred to as a bad coach, many teams would love to have him. Steeler fans are however not satisfied with "THE STANDARD", good season, good team. Pittsburgh is about Lombardi"s. Tomlin has yet to win one with a team he built. Coach T is a good coach but the proof is in the trophy case.

I think that’s setting the bar a little too high. The NFL is simply too competitive. My personal metric has always been playing in January. I think that’s all you can realistically hope for and trust to fate to see if you make it through February. My dissatisfaction with coach T largely stems from playoff disappointment (Blake Bortles????) but the fact he’s often playing in January indicates he’s a very very good coach.
