JH is fueled by grudges and anger, even though his playing days are over. It's how he is wired. He even hated the HBO camera crews when they were doing "Hard Knocks" when he was in Cinci. <shrugs shoulders> We didn't mind it when he was crushing QBs for us.Comment

Hating HBO Films? Who cares about that. Most teams aren’t fans of having their team filmed.Steelers 27

Please share with the audience who on this forum has criticized a coach...Any coach for paying a players fine?
I submit that it is YOU who is the hypocrite.
Nothing in anything you have ever written would lead me to think you would ever care if a coach paid a players fine. I don't even think you really take issue personally with what Tomlin did.
Just any excuse to take a shot at Tomlin.
Again, please produce the instance where we criticized a coach for doing what Tomlin did. Heck I don't even know of such a case.
Even the Saints bountygate....don't recall it being a big deal here.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

It was just one example, you know what I mean. JH is just trying to stir the pot a little, it's his career now. We sure didn't mind him when he was the best D player in the NFL.Comment

mind a player being good on the field for us?
it’s after they stop being a player for us and start trashing our team that we have an issue with them
Would you ask why a guy hates his ex after she cheated on him and now dates one of his enemies?Steelers 27

The critiques around Tomlin (and there are many) all revolve in his ability to coach. I have not once, not ever heard anyone on the team or within the NFL criticize him for policies that are detrimental to the league or the game itself. I can only think of the one time he was fined for standing on the field during a kick return. Even if the substance of JH's accusation is true and we infer Tomlin gave him an envelope with some cash - the hit was legal, it wasn't flagged, the NFL sold pictures of it online and it fits right within the narrative of a players coach looking out for his guys when they did exactly as they were taught and expected to do. there is also zero evidence or any other player suggesting tomlin would engage in such behavior such as bounty gate.
Speaking of bounty gate - there is also ample evidence, additional player testimony and incidents from their past that while in and of themself don't have anything to do with bounty gate, demonstrate a lack of giving a crap about players, player safety and their jobs. Payton was a replacement player during the strike in the mid 80's for crying out loud. Greg Williams has a horrible reputation within the league for crap like that.
There is simply no comparison between the two events.2014 MNF EXEC CHAMPION!!!Comment

And I've heard him praise the team many times on a high level. You're just extra sensitive if he just speaks the truth if it's not 100% cotton candy floating in the sky. JH just speaks the truth - that's what's in him.Comment
