James Harrison and Tomlin star in... The Envelope

James Harrison is really bitter.. and a snitch.

now he is talking/implying Tomlin gave him an envelope after he was fined 75K for the hit vs the Browns.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers star James Harrison said coach Mike Tomlin gave him an envelope after the linebacker's devastating hit on Cleveland Browns wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi in 2010.

He's bitter against Tomlin. Didn't he try to put all the blame on Tomlin for the AB fiasco?

I appreciate JH's contributions to the Steelers but, I wish he'd just go away.

Time to burn our James Harrison jerseys I guess.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

I can't tell if he's bitter, dumb or both.

If he's saying that Tomlin gave him money to help pay for the fine, then is he trying to say that Tomlin had his back? And if that's the case, why come out and make such a thing public now? Is he trying to make trouble for Tomlin and the Steelers after the $hitty parting of ways? Is he still bitter about that? Even though he acted like an immature child to force his way out?

Loved Harrison the player. Not sure I really care for Harrison the man.

I think he feels like Tomlin ruined his last year.

I understand being frustrated but it’s a business. I’m sure Hines, Troy and other vets didn’t appreciate the way we moved onto younger players while they were still on the roster.

Right. I'm sure Tomlin feels like Harrison was a disruption to the team that last year. Be a man. Belichick has been trying to move on from Brady for years. It happens.

Harrison has made a mess of his legacy IMO.

James always speaks the truth - but it's the truth as he sees it. And I have no idea how the neurons move through his brain.......

James sadly could have some issues ie. CTE. Why rat if the team or if MT covered his tab? He's traveling down roads that don't have good endings.

Agreed. If JH thinks he can tarnish one of the more upstanding coaches in the NFL, he is sorely lacking judgment.

No proof either way in this. So there’s nothing to factually debate.

It's amazing how small minded some people can get and end up destroying a legacy they worked so hard to achieve. I hope JH takes heed of comments like 'lost all respect ' and 'time to trash my JH Jersey' and learns that sometimes some things are best left unsaid.

I think JH knows there is a group of Steeler fans who aren’t fans of Tomlin. However, I think he underestimates their allegiance.

Some things you don’t discuss and a HC helping you cover a hit that most Steeler fans enjoyed and thought was legal isn’t how you win them over.

If anything this makes Tomlin look like a good guy. Of course, the league and ESPN will run with it because there is nothing else going on right now.

So, no one is calling Tomlin a dirty POS for illegally paying a players fine or potentially supporting a bounty?
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?
