That’s not true. Line play was terrible and everyone knows it.

21 yards rushing from Conner &
4 yards from Samuels in game 1.

    33 yards rushing for Conner
And 23 yards rushing from Snell in game 2.

    Line play was terrible.

It wasn't due to line play, we fell behind in those games if you actually look at what happened. We only ran the ball 12 times in game 1 and 15 times in game 2. So stop with "everybody knows it" you don't even "know it" you are just making stuff up to fit some narrative you have made up. They were ranked 1st in the league in 2018 and 9th in 2019, while there is a drop off there, it is skewed by the fact they had in experienced QB's for most of the season.

Foster was terrible last year. However, from what I remember last year the Pats run D was gangster the first 8 games or so.

I think it was more so Ben and the WR’s were out of sync and JuJu got just first taste of being a #1WR. When your QB is used to having a guy like AB get tons of attention it’s easy to go to other targets.

We ran only 12 times because we were ineffective. I wish you’d stop making things up. You don’t even know what your talking about. I watched both games. If you’d have really watched games. You don’t have a clue.

First game of the season is against the Giants. We won’t have to wait long to see if we can actually run the ball and not put immediate pressure on Ben to have to throw the ball 30 times or more.

In the New England game We only ran 25 plays total in the first half, 4 were punts and 1 was a hand off for a 1 play drive to end the half. So you had 18 plays in the first half and by the end of the half the score was 20-0. New England was controlling the ball and scoring, we had only had 7 rushes at that point, when exactly were we going to establish the run. The line was ranked 9th in the league with a 4th string QB under center, but I guess we should tell PFF that they should be ranked at the bottom because Steel Maniac the football guru watched the games and determined that the line was bad.

If you were an NFL DC how would you attack the Steelers offense? Would you come out with a heavy emphasis on stopping the run in an attempt to determine what Ben has as a passer or would you give the Steelers opportunities to run the ball with success?

One game won't define the success of a coach, player, unit, or a team. The first game of the season is a terrible gauge on how a team's season will play out.

Their the Giants; their predicted to be in the top 5 again in the draft next year. We should be able to run and pass on them. But if not, it is an indicator of what’s to come. Because it won’t get much easier.

Take a poll; see how many people think we are going to beat the giants.
