How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?Comment

All of us want the Steelers to win the Superbowl every year, we just all aren't effin cry babies when it doesn't happen. We also are aware that we don't actually effect the decisions about personnel, so you can whine about every little thing, but it has no more effect than the guy who just enjoys watching the team play on Sundays.Comment

Chargers had everything going wrong and a gunslinger like Duck showed us what can happen when he gets greedy.
It was the correct call. Especially when we got the ball to start the second half.
There were much better examples of how you let a team stay in the game in the second half when we didn’t score a TD from the 2 and Duck throwing an INT.
Sorry, I don’t think you will find anyone anywhere who agrees with your theory.
The last minute of the first half on the road when up 21 is the worst time to try and get a 3rd string QB experience for later in the season.
You're all over the place in your blind defense of tomlin.
getting greedy? who said anything about trying to go long like he did on the pass that ended up an INT.
do you watch football and drives at the end of the half that might need 30-40 yards with a minute left?
there's very little "gamble" in those situations. couple short throws
all I wanted to see was a timeout to leave the offense with over 1 minute. If the FG is good and we get a touchback?
fine kneel it down and go into the locker room.
with a missed FG it gave us excellent field position. try a play or 2 to see if you can get anything going. if not, kneel and go to the locker room. its a pretty much no lose situation
this actually wouldn't be a big deal if it wasn't a disturbing pattern. just last week there were posts of mishandling the clock before halftime as wellComment

I'm not one of the people who wants Tomlin gone at all costs. But, you could make that argument about pretty much anything. Hardly any single thing was ever definitively the reason we lost a game. But all bad things add up. There was a reason the team hired someone to help Tomlin with challenges and clock management.Comment
