The truth is that a case could be made for not challenging the play and challenging the play.

I understand both perspectives. You know something just isn't right when a person hangs onto coaching challenges as a major reason this team might lose a game.

I was going to say essentially the same thing. Of all the things to complain about when it comes to Tomlin as a coach, this has taken up way too much space in this thread.

look at his record at challenges.
look at the brass bringing in someone to help him.

look at him make the same mistake again.

its a pattern. that's why its concerning

Why do you think coaches challenges are so important?

I think they used to be mostly useless, but then super critical in a few cases where a turnover or scoring play was called poorly.

But now the league auto reviews almost everything important. I think challenges are just long timeouts.

It's really not that big a deal. Haven't you figured it out? It's about Tomlin and not the use of challenges. Everything gets over exaggerated because he believes Tomlin is an idiot and can't coach.

the complexion of the end of the game changed drastically when seattle challenged a call the refs called incomplete in thursdays game.
while the league uses it more, there's still plenty of times when the refs screw it up

Just trying to offset the fans that claim every decision Tomlin makes is the right one.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

Coach rah rah is a good coach. Didn't you see the cheerleader prematurely celebrating on the sidelines? I think the Rooney's should extend his contract.

What a damn fool this is.

It's almost as bad as a broken down cart and no other option to take a guy off the field that was knocked out cold and could barely walk off the field. How embarrassing for the Rooney's and the entire Steelers organization. It's absolutely shameful and appalling. Equally as appalling as the NFL officiating.

Another case of Tomlin is always wrong. How many times have we heard complaints about him standing emotionless on the sideline? Now he showed some emotion after a great stand by the team, and he gets chided for that.
