I understand when posters here question our coaches, front office, ownership, players, or whatever (especially in the midst of a losing streak where all fans are frustrated in one way or another). We can't all agree, and it would be boring if we did, but debates on an discussion board should remain civil nonetheless.

For me, the last straw was when our site administrator steelz insistence on continuing to use the phrase Overpaid Janitor...I could not justify continuing on as an official moderator here anymore from that point forward. But the owner of this forum has taken another step backward into the gutter and is now providing graphic descriptions of fellatio between the team president and it's head coach. You stay classy, South Carolina...

What is the point of even having forum moderators and a code of conduct at all at this point? Guess it's anything goes now. Sad. What was once a nice online community...

Sacks IMO are not as effective in a much less painful and violent football of today. I remember QB's totally falling apart with just pressure after a sack or 2. Same as WR's going across the middle. So much has changed in just the Big Ben Era. Individual match ups matter for secondary players IMO.
Using the Pats secondary as example, they have been lit up for yards and points a few times last season.
The Mutual fund comparison is really good also IMO.

Well, now everyone in the NFL knows that Tomlin is fraud. Why so? He is supposed to be a secondary guy and he partly got hired because of that "expertise" and he was never any good at it. Still isn't.

Most NFL head coaches are good at what they consider their "specialty". Tomlin is the worst at what everyone thought was his specialty.

Hiring Tomlin because of his secondary expertise is the equivalent of....

Hiring a landscaper that is known for killing shrubs and grass.

Hiring a civil engineer that's know for designing buildings that collapse.

You hire the fraud because he has decent, overplayed cliches. If you like that, and the Rooney's do, then Tomlin is your guy.
