It was a bad PI call, but not the kind of bad that the officials reverse. Tomlin should have kept his flag in his pocket.

I agree, he had to challenge that play. I don't understand how that doesn't get overturned, if your not going to overturn that call what the hell is the point of the rule.

There isn't any consistency with PI calls. The officials get the PI calls wrong on review. Coaches basically have a 50/50 shot at winning PI call reviews.

They're not going to overturn that call unless the replay shows that the receiver didn't touch the DB. I agree that it was a bad PI call, but they're just not going to reverse the call that was made in that situation (unless it's in the favor of Tom Brady and the *s).

glad somebody gets it. the chances that gets overturned was zero. holton actually had a hand out on him.

the problem with it is it leaves you with 1 challenge left for 3 qrs of the game. and for what? to gain 10 yards.
he has no clue on the risk/reward of that challange.

just like last year vs cincy when he tried challanging a ryan switzer catch being a 1st down when he was clearly a yard short in the first qr.
with only 1 challenge left, he couldn't challenge the conner play when he extended the ball over the goal line but it wasn't called a TD

you're about as bright as tomlin if you don't understand the implications of having 1 challenge left for 3 qrs of the game to make a 1 and 20 into a 2nd and 10
