Realistically....what can we get for AB?

It all depends on perspective. The Lions often pick around the middle of the pack to little success. Why not guarantee a Pro Bowl talent for the next three years. Here are recent Lions first rounder:

The guy I covet this year is Devin White from LSU. Nearly mirrors my high opinions of Roquan Smith in the last draft. Roquan came off the board last year at 1.8. If we can trade up with Detroit for 1.8 this year, I'd be ecstatic to be able to land White. Game changer in the middle of the defense. Upgrade our CB2 in free agency.

If we're talking trading for picks in exchange for AB then I hang up on anyone that isn't willing to offer a 1st rounder.Leave a comment:

I'm not sure it's falling on deaf ears. It's just that it's hard to get elite secondary players. They tend not to be available in UFA. And even if they were, we don't usually go after UFAs. Instead, we pay our own...and we seem to be not that good at drafting DBs outside of high picks (Troy).Leave a comment:

Recall Peterson wanted out of the Cards last season.
Brown wants out from us.
Lets get it done!!!!
Peterson and Haden would CHANGE OUR SECONDARY BIG TIME.
I have said it for YEARS to deaf ears.
Pay elite secondary over elite skill players EVERY TIME.Leave a comment:

I like this deal a lot. Because we could then trade down a little in the first round and still get what we need while picking up an additional second round pick. Yeah, I'm being greedy; do you blame me?Leave a comment:

They were talking about this on the NFL Network today.
3 years for less than 13 million per year.
2019 $12,625,000
2020 $11,300,000
