I'm sorry but you put up with attitude from a guy who just had 104 catches 1297 yards and 15 tds, that is guy you sit down with and try and work out issues with. You don't chase your best offensive weapon out of town because you don't like who he is, that is not accountability and it is not leadership.
he wasnt held accountable. they tried to play this off as an injury. it was only after the story leaked out that the truth came out

Go pull up AB's stats for the past 9 years and all of the clutch catches and punt returns he made for this team and then ask yourself if he is bad for this team.
and you, sir.. are not looking at the totality of ABs character... spanning back several years according to Ryan Clark and others. When the player is allowed to become bigger than the team (as you are condoning) you end up with the current situation that we have in pittsburgh.

I know he has an attitude and has had an attitude I just don't think it's a big deal, a lot of superstars have attitudes it's not a reason to get rid of them. "When the player is allowed to become bigger than the team (as you are condoning) you end up with the current situation that we have in pittsburgh." , how is AB bigger than team and what is the situation in Pittsburgh?

I could list several examples of how AB is bigger than the team. Did you read the report about him not staying in the dorm rooms with the team during camp? How about his habitual showing up late to meetings (as if to be on his own schedule)? There are other instances that I'm sure will be recited for you... but that should suffice for now. In terms of the "Current situation in Pittsburgh"... Let me just sum it up for you by saying I watched a tremendous amount of playoff coverage on multiple networks during the divisional round and championship weekends. The Steelers were by in large the only non playoff team to receive coverage both weekends. I'll let you draw your own conclusions on that

Wow a superstar wide receiver and 9 year vet not wanting to stay in dorm rooms during training camp that is shocking. I will draw my own conclusions on the coverage, the fact that we were 13-3 just a season and then missed the playoffs this season shocked a lot of people. The fact that people are shocked we didn't make the playoffs tells you that given the culture, the coach and the way the team was constructed we were expected to make the playoffs. If nobody was talking about us and nobody expected us to make the playoffs, then I would be worried about the state of the team.

Again you fail to miss the big picture... most of the discussion (involving the Steelers organization) was focused on the situation with AB.

While that may be true... the "So what" comes into play when it impacts the Steelers in a negative way. Some folks on here said the "Bell drama" early in the year had no impact on the team. We learned they were wrong (reports from inside the organization) after the season was over, though.

Nobody said there isn't some negative impact, the argument is over the severity of that impact, I say the impact is minimal especially when compared to the positive impact that Brown has on the team.

Say what you want about the "Severity"... the Steelers organization appears to be "Open for business" with other teams...and are even reportedly seeking out trading partners.

I seriously doubt they'd be doing that with one of the all time greats... if the "Impact was minimal".

They are exploring trade offers but neither side has taken returning to the team off the table.

Would they be "Exploring trade offers" if the negative impact was minimal?

Yes if Brown was asking for a trade.
