Well some thoughts about where we are with the Eagle game in the books and having seen almost all of camp-
Qb's- The questions behind Ben are this does Rudolph n Dobbs play well enough to trust them n if so could they move Jones. If they don't play well Jones stays n Dobbs becomes odd man out. Next few weeks to see more of this battle.
Rb's - Bell Conner n everyone else. Today I would say Samuels n Ridley make it n Toussaint could be gone. FB Nix is in with no challenger.
Wr- AB JuJu Washington DHB will be there. After that there is questions. Hunter should be next but a rookie like Patterson who can contribute on special teams is pushing. Not likely to keep 6 wr's so this will be an interesting battle. No other wr has been consistent enough to this point. This race will likely go down to the last game.
Eli is on the pup for now.
TE- top 3 haven't changed. Christian Scotland Williamson gets a year exemption. Hodges is an interesting cat who is more receiver then TE even at 66 250. I would believe a strong candidate for the PS.
OLine- starters you all know. Okorafor Feiler n Rogers all had good games against the Eagles. Not likely to carry 9 so Rogers is outside looking in imho. Finney is obviously in. Okorafor played very well against Philly he was okay at camp but he didn't look like a rook and had one pancake block that for you old school guys like me was "out of frame". Impressive for someone with no experience. Feiler too had a solid game walling off and getting to the 2nd level and staying on his feet. Quality back up with position flexibility.
DL- who is the 6th? Big Dan got some playing time and had some decent plays. Frazier didn't get in till late so for now it's the same as last year. He is holding on but the race here is not over. Frazier would be a PS guy if it went that way.
ILB- Bostic n Williams start. Bostic has been okay. Red n Fort next with the rookie Thomas next but not for long. He has looked solid and he played outside as well against Philly and was solid on special teams. He has looked solid at camp and should make the 53.
OLB starters set then Chick Adams Adeniyi Huguenin. Chick is in while Adeniyi could be next man up. We likely carry 5 here.
Safety- Davis n Burnett top 2 today with Edmunds right there. Golden n Allen should both stick.
Corners- starting 3 Burns Haden Hilton with Sutton and Allen as well as Coty S. We could keep 6. Nice to have some depth for a change.
So we have some guys who will play for other teams this year after they get cut here. Depth for us is better then it has been. Good problem to have. Perhaps we move someone for a late rounder instead of giving up a late rounder for a position we are thin at.
