Last year Watt made us better.

I expect our our first round pick to contribute immediately even if they don’t play every down.
Evans makes this team better day 1.

I like Evans because he produced at both ILB and OLB in a 3-4...that kind of versatility can help out a lot with our defense...he could possibly replace Bud Dupree next year if necessary...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

He's an impact player at multiple positions...more a Mosley than a Shazier type but he's quick, athletic, has terrific hands to sort through trash, and his ability to rush the QB is superb. The guy is NFL ready now. I see the Steelers lining him up all over the place and letting him disrupt.

I agree, just thought I would put that info out there because I also thought his next year tag would be 23 mill.

              hopefully he falls to us.

This is why I think it's crazy to take a RB with the first pick, especially when folks say you can get good value in the 3rd and 4th rounds because RB is "easy" to replace.

Don't say weed in a thread about Bell!!!
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I see some mocks having him fall to us. I just don't see it happening though. I have a higher grade on him than I did Watt last year. But, you never know how draft day will fall.

I've seen reports to the contrary on Evans. Even some saying he's Jarvis Jones 2.0. Normally I don't worry about our linebacker choices but as of late, Colbert has struck out with Jones and Dupree. He hit on Shazier. But Colbert has shown he's a little lacking in his linebacker choices.

Whatever reports you are reading are wrong. He's a Pro Bowl caliber ILB in the making. Take that to the bank.

I wouldn't look at Dupree as a strike out. He's just a single when we were hoping for a home run.
