How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

If he's telling the truth, then he's not wrong - it's excessive. And he's certainly nowhere near the first player to call out the "randomness" of the testing.

"[I have] had five 'random' [Human Growth Hormone] blood test in 10 weeks, NFL," Bell wrote in a tweet. "I'm not doing another after today. Whatever y'all looking for -- it obviously ain't there. And I'm not about to keep allowing y'all to stick me with those dirty ass needles. Find the players who really do that H.G.H. b.s. and get off me."

            Another "victim".....
I understand that the randomness may not be totally random, but he put himself in this spot.

I think he also cost himself money. Our offer was comparable to the Jets. And he sat out a year waiting for it.

But I get it - he wanted to bet on himself, thinking he'd land an enormous deal, resetting the bar for a dual-threat RB player. It didn't work out that way but he'll still retire incredibly wealthy.

The great thing about being financially independent (which he should be) is that you can make crazy bets like this.

I think his talk of retirement was probably fairly legit too. If it were me, I'd reevaluate my trade off of $$ vs lifespan after seeing my team mate (and presumed friend) carried out on a stretcher and fighting hard just to walk again.

Do you get tested more than your colleagues?

James Harrison was annoyed at the amount of testing he was getting while playing.

I think it’s an issue if you are being tested every week and the guy next to you is being tested once a year.

I got tested randomly at my job also. I got hit 12 times in 3 years. Never did anything other than alcohol my entire life.
At first it bothered me but I knew it was part of he job. I agreed to it.
After a few times, I actually enjoyed it. I would be sent off grounds to be tested. I took the company vehicle, drove super slow, stopped for food and milked it out for hours. How anyone can claim they are being harrassed and threaten to sue crack me up. It's part of the job.

Always cracks me up when people compare their job to a professional athletes job.

Sorry, it’s not the same thing.

I don’t think anyone is comparing jobs but drug testing is drug testing. My company has random testing. Some years I get called, other years I don’t.

If Bell has a problem, complain to the players union. Get all of this fixed during the next lockout which is right around the corner.

Well, when both jobs require you to be drug free and random drug testing is part of both jobs, it's really quite easy to compare them on this issue.

Tell me how Bell shouldn't get tested more than his co-workers but I should.
