I watched the game and thought he looked good. Still shifty and patient. Problem is the o-line was terrible.

Not bad for not having played in over a year.

Report: Jets RB Le'Veon Bell's Shoulder MRI Reveals No Structural Damage

By ALAA ABDELDAIEM September 12, 2019

Jets running back Le'Veon Bell has no structural damage in his injured shoulder, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported on Thursday.

According to Fowler, Bell missed practice on Thursday to undergo an MRI after suffering a shoulder injury during the Jets' season opener against the Bills on Sunday. The MRI revealed no major damage or tears and was mostly conducted as a precaution.

Jets coach Adam Gase said Bell's status for Monday night's contest against the Browns was still undetermined.

"I'm really not sure," Gase said when asked about Bell's status and the extent of his shoulder injury. "This could be just soreness. We don't think it's anything worse than that, but we're probably just being a little extra cautious."

Running back Ty Montgomery is next up on New York's depth chart should Bell not play.

Bell, who signed a four-year, $52.5 million deal with the Jets this offseason, rushed 17 times in the opener against Buffalo for 60 yards. He also caught six of his nine targets for 32 yards and a touchdown.

The Jets are already without quarterback Sam Darnold, who is out for Monday night's game and could miss multiple weeks with mono. Trevor Siemian will start in his place.

Kickoff between the Jets and Browns is slated for 8:15 p.m.

The starting QB is out... so the Browns catch a break.

And if Bell plays, the defense has no one to focus on but him.

But I’m hearing that his playing is 50/50 now because he has a messed up shoulder. Took a pounding that first game I guess huh?

Really because everything being reported says he is playing Monday night.

This...although I can't say the same for AB where I'm kind of rooting for a flame out (because I'm a bad person, probably)

No it’s because you are tired of his Sh.t, just like everyone else not a Pats fan. Here’s to his flame being extinguished

A huge game from Bell is particularly important this week because he's playing Cleveland (I'd love to see the Super Bowl bound Brownies start off 0-2 after facing the Titans and Jets) and Sam Darnold has been declared out already with mono (not expecting much help from Trevor Siemien at QB).
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Part of the reason I root for Bell is because he has 2 chances to beat the Pats.

I always want the Pats to lose so rooting against AB is easy.

I like JH but I rooted against him too. I don’t like ring chasers.

I’m definitely a fan of his running style but he also plays the AFCN and the Pats.

Why wouldn’t we want Bell to have good games against those teams?

                              Because of personal reasons?

As long as he is helping our chances to win the division and defeat the dynasty he is an ally. When he plays us or if they have a chance to knock us out of the playoffs, I will root against him.

I'm curious when this injury happened. Did he get hurt in the game? Or did the injury "happen" when he found out Darnold was going to be out for an extended period of time?
