Look, cancer or not - we cut him. The Steelers could have suspended him for the last few games. They could have made him inactive and told him to stay at home. They had optios - and they chose to cut him. And then he cleared waivers where 30 other teams had a shot to sign him and didn’t. I’m pissed he’s a patriot but dang, he fell into their laps.

He's still an effective run stuffer.

Also in the type of front that we run our middle linebackers are supposed to be the run stoppers and they suck, which is precisely why we got gashed.

Nobody is disputing the fact that Harrison can't come in and be a pass rush specialist but to think that he was the answer to our defensive problems is insane.
What are you talking about? I saw him being quite successful in setting the edge on running plays for the Patriots after playing for them. I will give you that coverage is not his strong suit, but last year he actually didn't grade out that bad in that department for the Steelers.

Look, I'm not saying he would be the answer to all our defensive problems. But if utilized properly, he could have been of great help to us. Just look at how he's been able to help the Patriots.

Jarvis Jones - never progressed and was a bust. Bud Dupree is invisible on the field. Has not improved, actually worse this year. Harrison situation mismanaged.

No no one is saying fire Colbert or the entire staff. That’s just hyperbole being thrown around. But why in the hell is Porter still coaching.

Maybe firing a few guys will send the message that giving up continual 40 and 50 yard plays are not acceptable. Third and long being converted on a regular occurrence won’t be tolerated. Make a statement after your D got humiliated at home after a bye week. This team has drafted D in the first round season after season and it’s the weakness of the team. Should not be happening. The status quo ain’t working.

Yep. Just like Haden did for the Steelers... credit Colbert and company for making that happen.

A year ago JH had TEN, yes 10 tackles.......key to shutting down Jay Ajayi in beating the fins.
He cant stop the run? The next time TJ and Dupree COMBINE for a total of 10 tackles will be the first time,

He led ALL outside linebackers in THE LEAGUE in postseason tackles last postseason. Not 2008........2017!!!!

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

                  TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

Ya he has gotten a few sacks but they have come late in the game with his team ahead, situations where the offense is on demensional, we were never in that position. Also let me add we were 13-3 without Harrison, why should he have mattered to us?

Are you kidding???? Man, you're on a roll! Why should he have mattered to us?

AFC Divisional -- Jacksonville 45, Pittsburgh 42 (38 points scored by Jax offense, incredibly poor Steelers' D).

AFCC -- New England 24, Jacksonville 20 (New England gets to play for their 6th Super Bowl title, Harrison helps them at critical points).

What more do I need to say?

anybody defending the release of 92 and letting him get to the pats is either an idiot, a stillers homer, or has some other agenda

all that needs to be said is that the stillers braintrust kept dan mcullers over him

                            that is complete garbage

IDK Whiz... if I remember right...that JH sack late in the KC game was pivotal. He was quite the difference maker for a guy who only got 40 snaps.
