I don't get the antagonism toward Tiproast at all. Because he is from Patriots country and likes to engage with Steelers fans, I actually find it friendly and fun. Telling someone from another fanbase to go away just seems like extreme xenophobia or silly territorial dispute. Like fools from one neighborhood hating and killing people from another neighborhood just because they are from another neighborhood.

The people who dislike him the most don't own this site. What right do they have to tell him to go away. Most of them are much more negative and obnoxious and non thinking than he. Their posts are often filled with vitriol and hate. Would someone tell them to go way with the extreme negativity? Maybe he won't come back, but I personally welcome him. He is thought-provoking and respectful.

There is a difference between one of us Steeler fans on a Steeler board posting something (even something stupid) vs. a ** fan using a friggin' Patriot** player avatar on a Steeler board. Even if one of us posts something stupid ... it's ok, we're all on the same team here.

This is not an ecumenical church service where we celebrate the wondrous diversity of all our fellow humans as we travel together on this mystical journey we call life. (Bleh!). It's a Steeler board. If someone wants to post here, they need to refrain from sly little digs at the Steelers. And they need to not use a disgusting Patriots** avatar on a Steeler board.

I'd be more than mildly surprised if the Steelers are seriously considering spending the kind of bucks it would take to sign Mike Pouncey. He would be more of a luxury pickup at this point. Maybe if Foster was playing terribly, and they had a lot of cap space. But he isn't, and they don't, and they have too many other pressing needs right now, including at safety ... I'm not sure they'll have the $$$$ to get a good one of those, what with signing Bostic and having to pay the rookie class.
