This is a "team" game. Not just a "Bell" game.
If your fostering the same bad atmosphere as others, your contributing to those who DIDN'T play well by cultivating that atmosphere. So what that he played well; he helped create the atmosphere for others to not play well. This is a "team" game.Comment

Yeah, that’s foolish IMOThis is a "team" game. Not just a "Bell" game.

Theses are grown men. If you don’t play well just own it and do better next time.
Trying to blame other folks for a players bad game is a cop out.Steelers 27

Well, if you read Bell's comments, he never said that other players should shut up...he said that some players were not ready to play...
All felt is saying is that Bell showed up ready to play, regardless of whatever else he said or did...he had 155 yards from scrimmage and 2 TDs...that is showing up...
Whether or not you think Bell was looking ahead, it clearly did not affect his on field performance...Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.Comment

what's to gain by saying this about your teammates?
bell came off like a clown in every interview he did, but the excuses will pile up from his sycophants
I'm now in the camp of letting him walk. especially after seeing the RBs in the SB. no need to pay him 15 millionComment

Maybe there was nothing to be gained....or, maybe some teammates will be more motivated to play well...
There is no excuse...there is no excuse even needed...
HE played well...if he had sucked and was saying this, I could understand your point...but, if he was looking past the Jags, you couldn't tell it by watching him...
Did he not play well? Is that not what is important?Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.Comment

yeah, I'm sure his teammates will be motivated to play better from a guy who can't even make it to the final walk through

who knows why he didn't make it but he informed the coaches ahead of time.
it's foolish to use that as an excuse for why other players didn't play better.Steelers 27

exactly what? Bell had 155 yards from scrimmage and the O put up 42 points.
what is the exactly for?
if players refuse to play better because he called them out that's just proof these are the wrong players to have on our team.
you guys sure find weird reasons to not like the guys who actually show up and produceSteelers 27

It's called, " setting an example" Set an example if your going to call people out.
You have zero credibility calling ANYONE out when you can't even show up for team meetings and practices. And nobody is buying the " I called the coaches " stuff.Comment

and you will vomit up any reason to slag bells nuts
why would any of his teammates respect being called out from a guy who gets suspended for smoking dope, doesn't show up for a final playoff walkthrough, and then is late on game day
I sure wouldn'tComment
