They also played Tennessee. I would really like to see how the game played out if they didn't call that OPI on the WR that was iffy at best. I still think the Pats win but I would like to see if Tenn could have got points or flipped the field.

Anyway, I'm tired of comparing us to the Pats. We aren't them. Never have been and never will be.

Ok, thanks for clarifying that. I think you (or someone else on this board) pointed out that all NFL rosters are filled with talent, and that some teams are stronger in some areas than others. But every NFL player is someone that beat out a bunch of other talented players in college, and then again in NFL training camps.

So on every team, there is a boatload of athletic talent. And as you point out, harnessing that talent and letting it express itself on game day is the job of the coaching staff.

Whether you like it or not (trust me, I don't either)... that PATS are the benchmark for success in the league. If "We aren't them, and will never be them" holds true, I don't hold out much hope for this franchise, moving forward.

I agree with this 100%. And, if this is the case, our Defensive Coordinator and Scheme need replaced ASAP.

James very well could of been helpful yesterday. He didn’t like the role he had on our team(can’t blame him for that) and he quit on the team (Lots of blame to go around on that) so we will never know. Does not change the fact he was a great player and teammate for a lot of years for the Steelers. Good look in the playoffs James

It's nice to fantasize all the good things that could happen with JH on the field but we have seen this before when playing a QB that supposedly isn't that good at passing the ball.
Points allowed versus Tebow? We win this game.

Just remember the last time we lost to this same team.....you suggested we should have played Harrison.

What's kind of amusing to me is they buried JH under the bench like they had all of this pro bowl talent at LB playing in front of him. Did you see any of that on display yesterday? From the looks of things, JH might still have been their best LB.

Could the Steelers have tried Davis as the ILB next to Williams to see if he could have helped chase down the wide plays or prevent Yeldon's 40 yard catch and run? I know he isn't a strong tackler but I think he is faster than Spence, I don't know the weight difference but it probably isn't a whole lot. Could we have played with 5 DBs, one being an ILB and done any better?

Maybe we can get Deebo back for next year, after he does this ring thing with the Pats?

I mean Tebow did not outscore the 42 we scored yesterday. Had we given up what Denver scored......we win.

kinda hard when the offense keeps giving up points/field position. 2 turnovers, 2 more on downs due to piss-poor 4th down plays

James is laughing his @$s off at us right now. Because if you want to say who lost this game for us, it wasn't:
                              -the QB
                              -the RB
                              -the WR
                              -the OL
                              -the DB

It was the front 7, who got zero sacks and pressures. Bortles had one long bomb, and EVERYTHING else underneath. That is on the DL and the LBs, squarely. Those guys who came out and started spouting off about the Harrison situation, Bud Dupree being the primary one. How you gonna talk all that talk, and put up 3 tackles??!
I wasn't hired for my disposition.
