It was a 97 yard pass PLAY. The actual pass was only about 30 yards in the air as I recall. JuJu ran the other 70.

Martavis had a longer pass clang off his hands earlier in the season. But otherwise, I would say that in general, Ben's passes have been more off than they've looked like that pass to JuJu, which hit him perfectly in stride.

That doesn't mean it's all on Ben. In another game, I recall AB stopping on a route, which made Ben's pass look awful. It was on AB. And at times, MB looks lost. He's definitely not on the same page with Ben. And other times, guys like DHB and Eli have dropped nice passes too.

The whole passing game just hasn't hit its stride. Hopefully it will, as we're pushing into the 2nd half of the season. Unfortunately, MB tweeted his way to less playing time with Ben, extending the amount of time it'll take them to get in sync.

And don't get too caught up in the big play, JuJu has dropped a few along the way as well.
He’s a second rounder who blocks like Heinz and only had Eli Rogers in front of him.

JuJu is also getting looks because he is big as hell for a slot WR.

Most 1st and 2nd rounders will get playing time if they play up to their draft potential.

I agree Bryant hasn’t been given enough opportunities with intermediate routes but he also sounds like he expected it to be 2015 and the defense would just part like the Red Sea and let him pick up where he left off.

Looks like Dallas and Green Bay did us a favor b/c Hilton has done in the slot what Awuzie would have been asked to do.

On paper it looked like we were set at WR with Bryant returning and Rogers development in the slot so it looks genius at this point now.
Excellent post. Draft day Josh Jones I thought would be a great pick n I believe he was brought in. Thought JuJu was a consolation prize since some of the top db's were off the board n went off the board just ahead of us.
Interesting that we brought Hines in to mentor this kid at camp n that looks to be paying off big. (Could Hines replace Mann in 18? We'll save that for another day) Just glad this rook is wearing B & G.
