I heard one of the Steeler pregame commentators say Bryant has "worlds" more talent than Ju-JU. I thought it was ridiculous statement. Ju-Ju is already a better receiver than Bryant. He has a better feel for getting open and despite the drop, I think he hands are much better. The knock on him for his 'speed' is belied by the fact he set the Steeler record for longest TD reception. Better than speedsters Mike Wallace, Dwight Stone and Martavis Bryant.
There's more to being a receiver than running fast and I don't think Bryant has improved on the finer points of the position. His speed this year seems a tick slower also.

JuJu was a second rounder pick for a reason. He is definitely a better possession WR. Bryant has better physical talent but IMO his hands are still a little suspect and we aren't putting him in the best position to utilize his talent.
It doesn't have to be either or.. they both play for the same team. I think they can co-exist and if we get both more touches we will be a much better offense.
Bryant took the bait online so it's now JuJu vs Bryant when that shouldn't be the focus.

Well said. In an ideal world, Bryant takes this as a wake up call and you see a lot of 3 WR sets with AB, JJSS and Bryant. Bryant still has incredible deep speed and is still an explosive athlete. Having those 3 guys, with their different skill sets, would create matchup nightmares.
We are a better team with Brown and Bryant outside and Juju in the slot than we are with Brown and Juju outside and Eli in the slot. We should go back to primarily 3-wide formations featuring AB, MB, and JJSS after the bye.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
That would be beautiful...but it is also predicated on Martavis removing his head from his own bunghole and getting it on straight...I really hope that happens...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

I like that MB made the trip. Also seen him on the sidelines with JuJu.
I think that story is overblown. WR’s are always in competition with each other.
MB definitely needs to put his head down and get to work.

if they both get more touches, that likely means AB gets less. then he will start crying and causing a distraction
or bell gets less and he is more of a distraction than he already is.
steelers = 3 ring circus with tomlin being the head clown
I'm ready to move Bryant before today's deadline (provided the price is right). Get something good and acclimate whoever we get to the team during the bye week.

Nope. Reintegrate Bryant back into the offense during the bye week. We are much stronger in a 3-wide set featuring AB, MB, and JJSS than we are with AB, JJSS, and Eli.

I understand what your saying but it can also go the other way and he be a cancer for the rest of the season.
