Re: Steelers-Cryboys Tailgate
Well Ruthless and BH I'm sorry I missed you guys. I came around the plaza a few times and met SN1 a couple of times and drank a beer together. That was cool, him and his family seem like great people.
BH my phone died on the way to the bar and then we hit a detour and never made it back. Sucks but that's how it happens sometimes. Next time we'll hook up. Now on to my trip.
The trip/game just rocked. A total of 14 of us were there and just had a blast. My trend in meeting high profile players/people stands to 4 in a row now. Right when I get off the plane I meet Tunch Ilkin and talk to him for a bit while I'm waiting for luggage. He is a cool guy. Our rooms were at the Hilton and we got the exec floor (thanks to my job and being a Diamond member with Hilton--too much travel will get that for you). We met Heath Miller and Willie Colon the night before the game. Now the funny part, none of us have ever been in anything that cold EVER so we're loading up on the thermals. At some point my cousins decide to go MC Hammer in the room (Pumps in a Bump).

We were rolling like crazy and couldn't control ourselves. So my cousin decides to go to the room next door in just his thermals on his legs and a old Steelers shirt to show them the dance. That was when we all met Tomlin, he was 4 rooms down. He just laughed and patted him on the back.
The trip just rocked! The game was the best I've ever been too, money well spent. Go Steelers!
Oops almost forgot, when I was checking out I talked to Deshea for 1/2 hour in the morning as he just finished talking to his charity corner. Man that guy looks very young. He looks like he's only 14 years old. He was very cool and let my kids get autographs and take pictures. Dream trip I tell you. I got the Post Gazette cover with him scoring the TD signed. Bam! One note I will never go to a game outside of September ever again too dang cold for me.
