I think there are better prospects down there then Connor.

      like who?

I like Elijah Hood but I don't know if he is better than Conner.

I don't want to go RB until the 4th at the earliest.

I don't like anyone after the second. I would take my midget in the 7th round before I spent a 4th on a situational back with sluggish feet.

I'm not crazy about Williams. He looks so awkward running the ball.

With the addition of Davis, we don't need to waste a 4th on a guy who can never be a feature back. If you want a situational guy...take a flyer on this kid in the 7th or UDFA.

I get your point with Davis along with Bell. But none of the other RB's after the rated 2rd RB's can not be better then Davis? Mack, Hunt, Gallman, Forman, Hill? There are more of course just picked those guys. That is bold Shawn.

Shawn is definitely trying his best to be mr. opposite. Scouts say there is depth at RB.. he doesn't believe it. Scouts say QB is thin this year... nope, he doesn't believe it.

I never made that claim. Anything can happen. One of these guys can blow the league up. I'm saying after the top tier I don't see anyone blowing my wig back. I don't see that guy I'm like yup WE MUST draft this guy. We have bigger needs than 4th string running back. The only way we draft that type of luxury is if we are truly looking at a game changing talent. And after the top 4-5 guys I just don't see it.

So, I'll stick to Darren Sproles 2.0 aka the Human Joystick.

I'm just making my own assessments. I have heard some scouts agreeing with me on both of those subjects. I think Tribisky doesn't have the mental toughness to be a great NFL QB and I base that on him choking under the bright lights and stress. But, the more I look at him the more I think DeShaun Watson can make an instant impact on a team. He has NFL confidence and athleticism. Needs work on some things obviously, but is so athletic you can build an offense around him. He's a player. Mahommes has one of the sweetest deep balls I've seen in years, his improv skills are amazing, he has a cannon for an arm. Kizer is erratic but has a big time arm, and needs some time but has a high ceiling. I see one day 1 starter and two guys who can be very good pros. So, just because it might not be a deep class it doesn't mean NFL quality talent isn't there in the first two rounds.

Knile Davis cannot be our backup RB option. He'll be our primarily kick returner, but should be RB3 or RB4 on the depth chart. We should get a real backup to Bell in this draft, likely in the middle rounds.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

And Williams isn't that back up? Anyone we realistically draft will be RB3 at best.

Which Williams? DeAngelo Williams who is unsigned and will reportedly remain that way? Or Karlos Williams who was released back on March 9th?
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

DW is old and injured more often than Bell. I think we will look for a RB in the middle of the draft since the position is pretty deep this year. Not my words, this is what the experts are saying about the RB depth.

We are going to draft a new #2 runningback. Davis is nothing more then a kick returner now and an emergency rb 3
