But Shazier, Mitchell, and Golden progressed from limited participation to full participation. Facing a team with two dominant TE targets, having those guys available down in the middle could be a huge deal.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

What are the odds they stay healthy through the entire game?

Belichick talked a lot about the Steelers during his press conference today.

Here's a story about it, with many Steelers-related quotes: http://nesn.com/2016/10/bill-belichick-gives-epic-presser-referencing-mick-jagger-bill-russell-70s-steelers/

Roethlisberger does individual work Tuesday, hopes for full return next week
Posted by Josh Alper on October 25, 2016, 1:39 PM EDT

The Steelers held a practice on Tuesday before everyone scatters for the bye week and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was a limited participant in the session.

Roethlisberger said on 93.7 The Fan that he did individual work a little more than a week after he had surgery on the injured meniscus in his knee. He also said that he hopes to return to play against the Ravens in Week Nine, something that he thinks would require getting in a fuller practice session in the days leading up to the game.

“Typically I would say no, but it would be nice because I need to know what I can and can’t do,” Roethlisberger said. “Mentally, no, I don’t need it. But physically, just to know what I’m capable of doing … I think in this situation it would smart to get a good, full practice in.”

There were various reports about how long Roethlisberger would be out after he was injured against the Dolphins in Week Six with Steelers president Art Rooney II calling a 2-3 week timeline the best-case scenario.

Smh... if Ben returns after the bye I will be a little upset.

Maybe it was a freak injury but a part of me wonders if he just didn't feel like playing against the Pats.

I know, it's wrong of me but looking at our schedule this was THE game thus far on our schedule and for it be the game he missed right before a bye seems a little coincidental.

I'm in my feelings so don't mind me.

madness...the surgery itself is like putting a bandaid on for a knee surgeon, but he was still days removed from a procedure that but into his skin and trimmed cartilage in his knee. Even if he could walk, run, plant, etc...theres still bruising and soreness to deal with

I'm reserving judgment until I get a formal diagnostic report from Shoe's flatscreen plasma HDTV/MRI machine regarding Ben's little booboo.

I already admitted I'm being irrational.

Just wondering out out loud if the surgery could have waited til the bye. Ben already said if it was a playoff game he would be out there.

                        I'm bitter... sorry.
