    1. Wentz is no ordinary rookie QB. Stop kidding yourselves.

    2. His job got easier when Golden went out early and was replaced by a rookie, which then a caused reshuffling of the whole seconday. It got easier still with Shazier and Timmons going out.

    3. Yeah, lack of pressure made it easier too.

    4. Heyward is playing hurt, visibly limping at times last week. I doubt he healed completely by yesterday. He hasn't become invisible but he's not the pass rusher he was last year. Somebody made a snide remark that Shazier has to be in perfect health or he disappears. Well maybe other players have that tendency too.Gee, whoda thunk it. Guys who are hurt don't play as well.

Injuries are part of the game you have to deal with. Belicheck is 3-0 and down to his 3rd or 4th different QB. This team wasn't prepared and showed no heart. Also, goat horns have to go to Haley to a point. You only hang 3 points with this offense something is wrong. With all the pressure on Ben where was the screens? Granted Ben shares some blame hear as well as Wheaton. I think we miss Bryant in the passing game more than anyone wants to admit. Also, I think DHB should be playing over Wheaton and Coates.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Totally agree with you on all points, with the possible exception of the last one. DHB hasn't shown good hands (although it would be hard to be any worse than Wheaton was yesterday). I think I'd keep working Coates into the rotation.

Come on BB is no different than Tomlin as far as winning without players. How many Pro bowlers, All Pro and future Hall of fame players we lost last year and came one fumble to advance.

Just think...all these garbage players and inept coaches managed to beat two 2015 division champs in the first two weeks of the season...
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

So if injuries are part of the game why do Steeler fans heap so much abuse and hate on Steelers who get injured.

Our D has more holes than an aerated green. Even at full strength, we were not getting to the QB. 3 games, 1 Sack, and allowed 3 different QBs 300+ yards passing.

Appears that someone called in sick when DL was teaching rushing the passer.

On another note: It is good to be back.

Both with losing records in 2016. Easy to spin it anyway one wants.

On a bright note....Pouncy has played more consecutive games this year than I can remember.

Truth be known, it's long past time for our D to quit the 10 - 15 yard "LeBeau cushion" style of pass defense. The whole league has about 200 years of film on it being picked apart, and we just let it happen. Kills me. A little variety would be great once every decade.

The reason I am not fully on the Tomlin train yet is that he doesn't seem to have the word "adjustment" in his lexicon.

Of course, if they did not lose to us, both of those teams would have winning records today...I can spin it right back again.

maybe if we didnt spend all our money on 3 olinemen, a lame FA TE and hand over 4 million to a wr with a binding contract already, a couple good def players could have been signed

It starts with coaching. Haley called a piss poor game yesterday as well, imo. Didn't adjust to the heavy pass rush put on by Philly...Many many mistakes yesterday and hopefully we can right the ship or we'll finish below .500
