    Coates a Goat Tonight

Two fumbles and a couple of drops... not looking good as a replacement for MB.

Bad game for him...get it all out of your system now, Sammie! We need you to play like you did against Denver!
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Doesn't matter who the QB is if you are fumbling the ball away.....

gotta laugh at these homer writers that claim how these guys are looking awesome in camp then perform like a warm turd when we all can see for ourselves

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

i'm not going to get too spun up over pre-season.

that being said, I would like to see a professional WR demonstrate some fundamentals which to a layman like myself - appear quite necessary for success.

                        1. catch the football
                        2. hold on to the football after catching it
                        3. run good routes

we can talk about speed, attitude, work ethic, upside, intangibles etc. that's great. none of those thing put points on the board.

                        catch, keep, run.

if you can't do that - it's a waste of time.

I can't think of a better scenario for a young player to get his head on straight than failure in the preseason.

Personally, I think the Steelers should never issue the number 14 to a WR...

They should probably do the same for 10, all things considered...

Well, we lost a SB when #14 threw 2 INTs, and won a SB when #10 caught a toe-tapping TD with less than a minute to go...
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
