As for the Steelers, if it makes you feel better to believe we can win without most of our starting stars then who am I to burst your bubble. I'm sorry that offended the BnG nation. I guess anything is possible...maybe Landry Jones will come out and look like Joe Montana.
He doesn't need to be Joe Montana, I think Jeff Hostetler would be enough to win.

Was it probable when Landry Jones led us back from a 10-3 halftime deficit against Arizona (who I think is a better overall team than Denver) after Mike Vick completed only 3 of 8 passes for 6 yards? No, certainly not. But it happened. It it likely to happen again? Probably not. But I'm certainly not ruling anything out before the game even starts. Hopefully based on positive reports from Ben's practice today, we'll never have to find out.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I agree, hopefully its a moot point. We had AB and Williams against Arizona so that's not really apples to apples. Is it possible? Sure. If Jones starts, hopefully he lights it up and you can all say I told you so. But, it's not likely. And I refuse to get my hopes up and let my mood for the day rest on the back of Landry Jones.

One would be a miracle, the other a feat.

From the reports I'm hearing it looks like ben is going to be able to go and throw down the field. So what I would do is lineup Bryant and Bey wide, spread that defense out and throw to wheaton, TE's, and RB's underneath. Go down the field often try and hit some big plays or get some big penalties.

I think the other wideouts think so much of AB that they will do everything in their power to step up their individual games to not let AB down. And if you think about it, if you just another 3 catches or so to the usual workload for Wheaton, Bryant, Miller, and Heyward-Bey, they can collectively make up for AB's typical production. It wouldn't be realistic to expect one guy to make up for what AB does, but if they all just do a little bit more, dig down a little bit deeper, it can get done. I bet privately AB challenged every one of these guys to step up this week, similar to what Ben said to Bryant last week.
