    Don't know about you, but...

I'm keeping Wheaton over Bryant. Great hands and more consistent.

You may get a highlight play from Bryant but IMO Wheaton is who we need as an alternative to Brown

    I'm excited for Coates actually.

Keep wheaton as our 3rd wr.
    As a # 2 he's league average at best

I haven't seen the sure hands from Coates to be too excited

I'm also in no hurry to get rid of William Gay or Wil Allen. Both continue to be solid contributors. Ideally Allen isn't a starter but he can come in and do it all when needed.

He's our highest drafted wideout I believe.
Good size, speed, and a good kid.

I definitely have my hopes up

The Seattle game showed what Wheaton is capable of...

Bryant is young though, lets not act like Wheaton was anything special his second year.

Wheaton is good in the slot, you can't put him on the outside, especially with a guy like ben who likes to go down the field. Also wheaton didn't start producing until Bryant came along, the speed on the outside from guys like Bryant and bey allow wheaton to work against linebackers

^^^agree. Moving a guy up the WR depth chart moves the defenders up as well. Bryant just needs to add a little more 'fight' to his game for those contested catches.

Evidently, a couple subpar games by WR gets you limited snaps (Bryant), but Antwon Blake can do no wrong.

I thought it was interesting during the broadcast; Roethlisberger thinks AB is great because he is great at 'improvisation'. This makes sense since it fits exactly with the way the QB approaches the game.

So maybe these young WRs haven't been to improv class yet.....

Wheaton has better hands, but I'd gladly give bryant another season to work it out. He has too much raw talent to work with to give up on so quick. Same goes for Archer. Wheaton did nothing in KO return today again btw. The guy on the radio postgame show was talking like Bryant was still sick today.

I think Wheaton ran a 4.33 at the combine. I think he has enough speed to go deep, not sure why he doesn't more often though.

Wheaton had a higher yard per catch average than Bryant this year (Markus: 44-749-5 has a 17.0 ypc average; Martavis: 50-765-6 has a 15.3 ypc average). For what it's worth, Antonio's 136-1834-10...amazingly, better numbers than Wheaton and Bryant combined...has a 13.5 ypc average.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

This offense will need mistake free play if we want to advance, Bryant isn't currently providing that. Can't risk it in my opinion.

wait, can't risk Bryant being on the field? Ummm... I hope that isn't what you mean because Bryant blows the top off for the other guys to operate. Cincinnati is going to stay deep because of Bryant, not Wheaton.
