so did we or didn't we use our secret adjustment yesterday?
i didnt see that same press coverage type stuff yesterday that i saw in the second half of the denver game last week.
i saw us get abused by a ****ty qb throwing to wide open wrs that had a 10 yard cushion.
maybe we were saving it so the pats couldnt get more film on it for the playoff run
so maybe tomlin was telling the truth the week before when he said nothing changed. IDFK

Was he available when we picked up Mr Vick? If he were so good how were the Ravens able to pick him up.

Our secondary has often made average to bad QB s look like stars. Ex. Manziel

Mallett was starting for Houston when we picked up Vick. He was eventually cut because he was a petulant child who did not show up for work on time multiple times when things weren't going his way.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Mallet was cut by the Texans after he missed the team flight to Miami. He has issues with tardiness but he has always had the tools to be a decent QB if he has a clean pocket.

At Arkansas he was a monster but if you made him move his feet he struggled.

First half of yesterdays game was more of the same soft cushion bull**** like we witnessed the first half of the Denver game.
Balt was making 3rd down after 3rd down. On 3rd and 4 and fives we still sat back and let Mallet get rid of the ball quickly.
How many times did Balt run that vertical seam pass to the left side of our defense?
They kept sending their backs out underneath because we refused to blitz.
When we did blitz Boykin got a sack.
I love when Butler uses Harrison to drop into coverage in the middle.
Mitchell is also late on everything and is rarely in position to defend a pass.
1 sack and no turnovers, Butler played it soft again.

14 total sacks by the LBs so far this season. The leader; a 37 yr old LB. In my book, that is about as sad as it can get for a Steelers defense.

The Steelers made a conscious decision to go after speedy, lightweight LBs to help in pass defense and it is glaring how inadequate they are in forcing sacks. Would not be shocked to see them go LB once again in the 1st rd next draft.

You may be right, but I only have one thing to say about that: "Oh no, Mr. Bill!!".

Also, 3 of Harrison's sacks came in one game against 2nd and 3rd string QBs vs. Indy...

I thought that changing the D from the DEs taking double teams and holding blocks might cost the OLBs some sacks, but it is worse than I expected...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

I don't think the lack of sacks by OLBs has as much to do with how the defensive line plays as it does with talent and age. Harrison might be strong but his best football days are long behind him, Jones and Moats just aren't that good right now and Dupree's problem is age, but unlike Harrison its because he's a rookie and learning.
