so, you talked to his cousin's uncle's brother's sister and SHE said... "i aint one to gossip, so you didn't hear it from me"..

Seriously, i get it. And i wasn't even going there on what you did/didn't hear. At a very basic level, my thought was "jerks are ok in football"... so, no problem either way.

and that's sad. in looking at the interviews with Ray, I've flipped. I think he's a good kid who grew up in a rough neighborhood... he's a success story and wants to continue to be one... I wouldn't hesitate to take him. No reservations. None.

Even if you pass on him in the first, for a better prospect, you'll regret not taking him in the second.

When I watched him play and seen highlights...he leaps off the screen at me. Kind of how Troy did as well when he was coming out. You can just see greatness. He's a beast and worth the risk imo. Him or Peters and I am ecstatic. Coach these young men up. Bell is a perfect everyday example for them of what can happen if you screw up. If we draft Ray I am immediately ordering his jersey and retiring my Porter one. Can't wait for tonight!

I saw Mayock's final mock last night and he had us taking Byron Jones, the Ravens taking Marcus Peters, the *'s taking Gregory and Shane Ray being undrafted after the 1st round. That really surprised me. He said Ray has 3 strikes against him. First is his size, second is the toe injury, and third is the weed arrest.

So if Mayock is right we have all 3 available to us ... and we pass on all of them.

I would be so upset if that were the case.
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

              but Go Steelers!!!

I don't think they pass on Marcus Peters if he's there. He met with Tomlin, Butler, Lake, and they should have a good idea about whether he will mesh with our coaching staff. If so, he's got everything else you look for in a CB.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

well, we passed on Ray. Dupree actually is higher rated but seems to be more of a 4-3 DE. He's huge for a 3-4 but super athletic. I thought he was top ten...never even considered him to drop.
