And this .. how'd that work out? Seems maybe Cardale Jones, who will graduate from tOSU with a degree in finance after the fall of 2015 and tweeted his famous tweet after receiving a B on a test he had studied for (frustration) has his priorities in order. Oh, and it seems you were pretty much wrong on everything you had to say negative about the kid.
Well I have Ben's future replacement

Hmmm ... a tweet versus a rape accusation, stealing crab legs and standing on tables yelling vulgarities. I sure hope no one in your family ever tweets anything stupid. Might have to have them arrested.

His interview immediately after the game was impressive... he didn't "sound" like a dumb jock. And this .. how'd that work out? I'd say that his decision wasn't one that would be made by a dumb jock either. Lost in all the NFL talk was one simple fact. Cardale Jones is already a millionaire in waiting. Whether he ever makes it in the NFL or not, there will be financial opportunities for this kid as the QB who "led" tOSU to a national championship. The kid is set. And getting a degree in finance? Well, sounds like a kid who already knew if he ever made any significant amount of $$$, he'd have to have the ability to plan for how to handle it.
In any event, whether it's Cardale Jones or the next "instant superstar", we tend to build these kids up and then look for reasons to tear them down just as quickly. The bad apples will continue to provide us with ammunition. Those who learn from their mistakes will not; and we should at least try to recognize that they have learned and not hold something trivial against them. Just my opinion.Comment

Actually sounds like a sensible kid who decided to go in for a *real* degree (in a paying major), and not put all his eggs into his athletic basket. Doesn't sound one bit like a dumb jock, in terms of the decisions he's made.I'd say that his decision wasn't one that would be made by a dumb jock either. He's a kid, for lords sake. Kids (more than) occasionally say and do weird things. It just gets blown out of proportion thanks to social media, these days.Comment
