Things are so much different in the NFL when big money is thrown at young kids, some like Jones who never had anything, and then great expectations are laid on them by organizations and fans to produce and earn that big money.

JeMarcus Russell showed great poise and ability in a National Championship game. He too had unbelievable arm strength and size.

Jamarcuss didn't play in a national championship game... it was the Sugar Bowl and EVERY QB scout tuned in to watch Brady Quinn and JM stole the show vs a HORRIBLE undersized ND defense.

Jones has also said he knows he isn't ready for the NFL right now and will meet with Meyer to discuss his future.

You are talking yourself into circles. Sometimes it's best just to say...my bad...you are right. You already said that he has NFL caliber talent. Your concern was character and he has put those concerns to rest.

No not really. My concerns are not about him now. They are when he becomes and NFL player and has millions of dollars, high expectations, and freedom road. He hasn't put anything to bed.
