    Ziggy Hood signs with Jaguars

Ziggy Hood has agreed to terms with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Steelers DL depth is officially a problem. Al Woods was signed yesterday by the Titans and now Ziggy Hood is gone to the Jaguars. Keisel remains unsigned but is old. They might be forced to offer him a 1 year deal.

Arnfelt, Fagupo, and Williams could all be future monsters in our system.

          • Ziggy Hood Jaguars deal four years, $16 million, $5.5 million guaranteed, $2 million roster bonus 2014; $2 million fully gteed '14 salary

That's a hell of a lot more than I'd give Ziggy Hood, and thats why the Jaguars are the Jaguars.

Good for him, and good for the Steelers, as this salary will factor into the comp pick formula.

"could" but the reality is they probably won't or they would be on the field already. It's not like our DL was filled with monsters the last few years.

Not the case with Coach Mitchell...our DL had veterans who knew the system...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Steelers might be short on depth but my head would have exploded if they had spent $16 million on that easily pushed out of the play waste. Not the biggest but he certainly goes down as a huge bust of a 1st round pick. I'm not sad to see him leave at all.

Hood was supposedly the strongest guy on the team. He sure didn't play like it.

Jaguars gave Ziggy Hood $16M over 4 years. Guess we know why they are the Jaguars. Wow

A move all of us knew would be happening. By, first round bust. Never really did anything. Who ever was most responsible for that pick was FAIL. Of course, this is Pgh, where no one has to take accountability. It's just all a big mystery.
