Regardless of the play call, Scott can't whiff on blocks like that. That type of penetration can blow up any play.Comment

I bet Redman up the middle would've at least gotten the ball out of the endzone. That means a FG ties the game.
A lot of blame goes on BA for this loss. Zero creativity, zero adaptating, and questionable playcalling.Comment

Re: That's why you fire BA
Zero adapting? After wasting the first period with 2 TE sets David Johnson was barely on the field for the rest of the game and we went with 3 wide.
Btw, in 9 of 14 games Hines has less than 40 yards.
So hopefully the three WR sets will continue.
Because Hines Ward stinks.Comment

Re: That's why you fire BA
Both Smith and Leonard who were the Jets's starting safeties were out. I am surprised Hines was not able to take advantage but the TV shows you so little. Maybe he was a decoy to have some coverages rollover most of the game.Comment

You do realize the Hines has more yards that Holmes this year....
Not saying he hasn't lost a step...but "stinks" is a little strong.Comment

Re: That's why you fire BA
A thought...
Though he had a TD catch with multiple drops including a couple on the last drive, Spaeth had more balls thrown to him than Miller has had throughout the year in a single game. Was this by design? If so, how idiotic is that? Miller by far has the softer hands, but you wait until your number 1 TE is out before you start throwing to that position. Just a thought.Comment
