Re: Ben Said He Had the Ball...

    from poster on PFT:

    Look at mark 2:08 of this video at NFL.com: http://www.nfl .com/videos/nfl-game -highlights/09000d5d 81b92555/Steelers-TD -challenged-and-reversed

Roethlisberger pretty clearly gets his whole hand on the ball before the bodies pile on. I don't know if he possessed it under there or not, but Mr. Florio's typically snarky attitude sure doesn't mean that he didn't.

I watched it and sure enough...Ben's Arm does appear to be in the "Fray" of the revoery.

and if you need any ammo vs. the rats fans.

they also overruled a pretty clear INT in the endzone.

next play they scored a TD

      so eff em

Don't forget that in OT 4 or 5 Ravens defenders held up a Bills receiver (forward progress stopped) and no whistle blew. Ray Lewis hits the dude H2H then strips out the ball. Ravens run a few plays, kick a FG and get the win.

They clearly state forward progress was NOT stopped and therefore the whistle shouldn't have been blown. I swear, trying to reason with Rats fans is like trying to reason with teenagers. It just ain't happening

agreed, but you can present FACTS to them and they still only see what they want to see. I copy and pasted the post from Hawaiiansteel that had the transcript from the ref and it got ignored. They only want to see what they want to see. Anything that disputes their logic is automatically wrong

I honestly think they're worse than Pats fans now....

I don't think this is the week to point out what is and what isn't a fumble...LOL!

As far as Ben's quote... how about holding onto the ball so we don't have to wonder what goes on under the pile

Gee! Wouldn't that be a wonderful thing if that could happen? JFC, half the time Ben plays like he's 5'5", 141#, not the 6'5", 241# he's listed at. Dude, use your size and momentum a put a shoulder on the g-ddam guy and drive his @$$ into the endzone.
