Actually this IS the point about Ward that explains it all.

I don't think he is nearly as mean spirited as some think.

He is what I would call "stupidly" honest.

Most People self censor their comments taking into account how it will be perceived, effect on the team etc.

Do I for on second think Hines is the I ONLY Steeler who feels Ben let the team down? No, even Ben said as much.
But saying it serves no purpose and is stupid beyond belief.

So yes I See a strong resemblance between Hines and Gump.

Both achieved far beyond expectations and more importantly neither strike me as being too bright when they open their mouths.
