Are you unhappy with the NFL these days? If so, you aren’t alone. The NFL ratings are falling and there are many things to blame. In the spirit of Christmas, let’s make a list and check it twice.
- Inconsistent fines and suspensions – It seems Roger Goodell bases his suspension and fines off the spin of a roulette wheel.
- Rules – The rules are implemented inconsistently. Do I need to even mention the ‘Catch Rule’? This should be fresh in everyone’s minds.
- Officiating – It has been awful all year. Enough said.
- Injuries – Sometimes these can’t be avoided. With that said, to many star players are out for the year (i.e. Watt, Beckham, Rogers, David Johnson, etc)
- The Steelers inability to beat the New England Patriots
- Colin Kaepernick and other “protests”
- Roger Goodell – How does he warrant a new contract?
All of these can be summed up with one epic facepalm…
So, if you need a little break from the NFL, take a look at a new “sport” that seemed to hit the internet by storm…
