The Steelers introduced their latest first round draft pick, OG David DeCastro, and the story is very simple; the best possible player fell to Pittsburgh at No. 24. It couldn’t have finished any better for Pittsburgh on Thursday.
Friday and Saturday, though, are the picks that ultimately take contenders to championships. It’s about depth. It’s about finding Maurkice Pouncey in the first, and backing him up with Antonio Brown in the 6th.
There may be a few of those kinds of players available over the next two days, and those players are profiled and highlighted on NFL Network all weekend.
We’ll continue following the Steelers’ picks, providing as much insight as we can, but we welcome any and all analysis of your own. Teach, tell, share and speculate, it’s the most interactive and fun time of the year for fans.
