I must admit: this is no surprise. Dan has a storied history of bad luck that began in college. He originally walked onto the Baylor squad as a linebacker before converting over to punting duties. Baylor was where he sustained his first of three ACL tears. He went on to be a fourth round pick in 2007 and played a fine rookie season before tearing his ACL again at the start of his sophomore year. Try as he might, Dan was unable to avoid the injury woes and hit the IR again near the end of the 2010-2011 season.
